BIO

Raya Dize is a multi-instrumentalist and versatile artist. She trained for years in classical music (vocalist and pianist, multi-instrumentalist), dance (from ballet to hip hop), and Stanislavsky-trained acting (bachelor’s degree). In addition to writing all her own music, she is a certified sound healer, which helps her better connect with and impact her audience. Raya blends elements of pop, hip-hop beats, and classical music to craft emotionally charged songs with powerful lyrics, sandy and textured vocals, and healing frequencies that leave a lasting impact.

Beginning at age three, Raya devoted her life to classical music, playing piano and singing opera. By her early teens she was performing technically demanding classical pieces and impressing teachers and coaches who urged her to pursue a professional career as a concert pianist. Faced with health, emotional, and spiritual challenges, Raya turned inward and began writing her own music as a way to process tragic experiences and express what she couldn’t through classical music alone. That turning point marked the birth of her identity as a songwriter and contemporary artist.

Having moved frequently, Raya developed a broad and sensitive perspective on the world from a young age. This constant movement gave her a deep understanding of human emotion, cultural expression, and spiritual depth. At age eight she began working at a theatre, playing roles and doing recordings for other actors.

At 13 she wrote her first pop song and shifted her focus to modern music and singing competitions. A few years later she moved to Los Angeles by herself - a city she had dreamed of since childhood and a powerful catalyst for her artistic evolution.

Raya has danced since early childhood, exploring styles from ballet to hip hop. At 15 she began choreographing and graduated high school that same year, becoming one of the youngest students accepted into a prestigious theatrical university. There she earned a bachelor’s degree in Acting and Musical Theatre while training intensively in ballet, speech, vocals, stage presence, circus arts, acrobatics, and ballroom dance - including both standard and modern disciplines.

This rare, multidimensional background makes Raya Dize a truly diverse artist. Her fusion of classical training, emotional depth, theatrical storytelling, and modern sound gives her a distinct voice in today’s music landscape - one that resonates deeply and refuses to be boxed in.

While living in Los Angeles, Raya pursued acting, appearing in films alongside actors such as Peter Dinklage, Jamie Dornan, Lorene Jorge, and Yissendy Trinidad. Simultaneously, her music career rose in parallel. She was featured in music videos for well-known artists, appeared in national commercials, and performed in major shows in Las Vegas. Recently, Raya performed at a prestigious gala fundraiser attended by RFK Jr. and other prominent figures, supporting the fight against cancer through music and unity.

Over the past few years, Raya has collaborated with top American and European producers and labels. She has shared the stage with high-profile performers, including Eurovision star Alex Sparrow, delivering live shows that mesmerize with her voice, vulnerability, and powerful stage presence.

She was selected for VIP auditions for America’s Got Talent, American Idol, and The Voice, receiving a golden ticket for standout performances. Her recent shows at iconic venues like The Viper Room and the nationally acclaimed Hotel Café left audiences in awe of her energy, authenticity, and emotional connection.

Raya has been featured on Times Square billboards twice and took part in the celebrated Midnight Moment art activation in Times Square - one of the most visible public-art platforms in the world - further cementing her presence as a bold voice in both art and music.

In 2025, she released her debut album, Q&A with GOD, which was submitted for Grammy consideration. The album explores the grief of losing her Father, alongside themes of bullying, health issues, constant moving, financial hardship, betrayal, and deep personal transformation. Through her songs, Raya offers relief, healing, and truth.

She believes that love, compassion, and kindness are not only the core of her music but the reason we are all here.

Life is a miracle and all of us are a part of it. Believing in yourself is the way to show respect to something up there that has given us a chance to enjoy our lives.
